14th Febraban Congress on Banking Law discusses the Judicial Administration for Companies

According to news from the São Paulo Court of Justice, the 14th Febraban Congress on Banking Law, held on September 13 in São Paulo (SP), discussed topics that seek to improve regulation and new practices for judicial recovery, assets, recovery of credits, conciliation of the parts that are in excess of indebtedness, among others.

The president of the TJSP, Judge Manoel de Queiroz Pereira Calças, and the legal director of the bank Itaú Unibanco and sector director for legal affairs of the Brazilian Federation of Banks, José Virgílio Vita Neto, opened the event.

The Congress also had the participation of the auxiliary judge of the city of São Paulo, who is responsible for the 2nd Court of Bankruptcy, Judicial Recovery and Arbitral Conflict of the District of São Paulo, Marcelo Barbosa Sacramone, in the panel “Reforms in the Bankruptcy Law and Recovery of Companies”.
