Transparency International is a global anticorruption movement with recognized research capability, responsible for the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI). The CPI is an indicator with worldwide measurement, which punctuates the countries according to degree of corruption.
In the IPC’s 2017 Report, released on September 11, 2018, Brazil improved by 17 positions compared to the previous year, ranking in the ranking of corruption from the 79th position to the 96th position.
The indicator is considered one of the most used tools, in the public and private sectors, to assess risks and guide business strategies.
