Afonso Soares is a mathematician and engineer, post graduated in Executive MBA (IBMEC). He provides consultancy in business management, corporate financial management, business management, educational management, strategic planning, consultancy in the area of tax credits, credit recovery and judicial administration. He has more than 30 years of experience as a teacher and also as a manager of educational institutions in several cities across the country.

Afonso Soares began his technical career in 1984 as a teacher at the Educational, Integral and Social Assistance Society (Colégio Imaculada Conceição). At that time he was studying Mathematics, later graduating in Civil Engineering. In 1986 he joined as a teacher at Colégio Marista Dom Silvério (Brazilian Union of Education and Teaching) –UBEE. In 1990, he was approved in public examinations for teaching in the Municipalities of Belo Horizonte and Contagem, assuming both positions. In 1997, he held the position of educational director of Colégio Imaculada Conceição and, five years later, the position of Educational Manager of the Sociedade Escolas Network Educational, Integral and Social Assistance. With the delegation of the Institution’s legal responsibility.
